Bath is just down the road from me and I love it, it’s the city that reminds me the most of my childhood, even though we always lived in a Bristol postcode Bath was the city I visited most, so it’s a bit nostalgic. I’ve shot 3 weddings there in the last month so I happy about that, with a few more coming this year, quickly becoming a Bath wedding photographer!
Sarah and Tom’s wedding enquiry was a quite last minute thing. Sarah called me around a month before her wedding day which is usually not the best idea. Amazingly that Saturday was still available and I am soooo glad it was! This wedding was a huge party and everyone was up for it, I came home late and very happy.
Tom and Sarah had been together since they were teenagers which meant they had so much history together, and had journeyed with so many people together already. It was packed with people, and the party was on from the first minute.
The day flew by, with some top moments, one to remember was the best man’s speech, without doubt it was the funniest best man’s speech I have ever heard. If that guy toured as a stand up I would be buying a ticket. I struggled to hold the camera still with all the laughter.
Sarah and Tom were stunning inside and out. Sarah works for Models1 in London which meant there were a whole lot of people very good in front of a camera around that day!
I’ll leave you with some images from the day.
Again my camera of choice for this wedding was the Fuji x-pro2 with the Fujinon 35mm 1.4 on for most of the day. The 23mm 1.4 got some airtime too. Going to do a bit of an update on using these cameras at weddings soon.
