Nestled in the heart of the Somerset countryside, Coombe Lodge has quickly become one of my favorite wedding photography venues. This stunning venue offers everything you could possibly want for your wedding day for both outdoor and indoor ceremonies. The beautiful gardens, amazing sunsets, and lovely staff make it one of the best.

As a wedding photographer, I've had the pleasure of working at many venues over the years, but Coombe Lodge is truly exceptional. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with a warm welcome from the staff who go above and beyond to ensure that everything runs smoothly. The wedding coordinator, Charlotte, is always on hand to answer any questions and to make sure that every detail is perfect. It does feel like a very personal thing for the guys at Coombe Lodge. I’ve always felt really taken care of as a vendor. That’s not always the case at every venue, but these guys go above and beyond - I really like that!
One wedding that I had the pleasure of photographing at Coombe Lodge was Tom and Ruth’s. They exchanged their vows in the ballroom surrounded by family and friends and then went on to party the whole day. They decided to get married indoors due to it being a slightly wintery wedding. That’s one of the great things about Coombe Lodge, both outdoor and indoor weddings really work.

One of the thing that really sets Coombe Lodge apart is the attention to detail. Every aspect of the property has been meticulously maintained. it really makes a difference. I get to see all the details at wedding venues, I have to take them into account when talking photos - I can’t have ugly stuff in the background! So many of the original features of the property have been maintained and restored. It really is lovely. As a photographer, I appreciate the effort that goes into creating a beautiful setting that's perfect for capturing stunning photos.
The gardens at Coombe Lodge are simply breathtaking, such stunning surroundings, and it’s only about 20 mins from Bristol, easy for everyone to get to but still in the middle of nowhere! The beautiful flowers, lush greenery, and tranquil surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for beautiful wedding photos. As the sun sets, the colors in the sky are simply magical - the sunset shots just have to be done!

Coombe Lodge is one of those venues that just works. From the get-go you are welcomed, taken care of and provided with some of the very best any wedding venue has to offer. There’s loads I haven’t mentioned here, accommodation for your guests, loads of space for your party - it’s difficult to beat this venue. I’m just so happy it’s only 20 minutes from my house! I shoot weddings all over the country and occasionally abroad too, Coombe Lodge is well and truly up there with my favorites (I’ve said that too many times!?).
